Nagar Yatra - 2011
On 22nd, 23rd & 24th April, 2011 around 90 vanvasi boys studying at Purvanchal Kalyan Ashram's 9 Hostels across West Bengal visited Kolkata as a part of the ' Nagar Yatra' program. In their 3 day visit the students were taken to various tourist places in Kolkata. The Youth Wing of Purvanchal Kalyan Ashram organised a fun - fiesta for them on 23rd followed by a cultural performance by the vanvasi students. On the last day i.e. 24th, the students were split into small groups of 2 -3 and were taken for lunch at homes of various volunteers of PKA in Kolkata.
